Paris Hilton is currently on a two-day trip for China to attend Friday's 2007 MTV Awards and Style Gala at the Shanghai Grand Stage. The heiress shunned the hotel chain named after her family, and checked into the Hyatt on the Bund. After trying out the city’s cuisine and shopping, Hilton said ,"Shanghai looks like the future!" on her first visit to the Asian county. "She visited traditional clothing shops, wandered around carrying a cuddly toy panda and even tucked into some local specialties’ at a top restaurant," reported an onlooker.
